Best Birthday Gift of all time...

Jeff and I went to PA for my birthday. It was very nice to spend some time with Jeff and my family. This was the first Birthday that Jeff hasn't had a gig on in quit a few years, so it was wonderful to have Him with me. My birthday gift from Him was us going to PA, but he insisted on getting me something else on my birthday...I have seen Mama Mia in theaters twice already, loving it even more the second time and not being able to get the songs out of my head...walking around the house singing them loudly. Well, Jeff got me the sound track as my something else for my birthday!

It was perfect...He bought the sound track from the musical, not the movie! It was so funny! He tried though...that is what counts. We got home late Friday night and on Saturday we continued my birthday celebration! He disappeared for a little bit with Brian and came home with this...
I was so excited! I then baked a cake...thinking this is the last thing to celebrate, but oh how I was wrong!

Before we left for PA I vacuumed the house, and as usual it was very frustrating because my vacuum SUCKS! I have needed a new one so badly, but just hadn't gotten around to it. I was complaining to Brian about my vacuum. Meet my new best friend...

Thank you so much Brian!!! This is one of the BEST gifts anyone has ever given me. I'm still a little in shock and giddy about it!!!

Tomorrow, I will put my Mama Mia CD in and plug in my new Vacuum and dance with it around the house!!!

Party time!

My friend Sarah and I threw a bridal shower for our good friend Stacy followed by Her Bachelorette party. It was a day full of yummy food...

Dancing...

And just good fun with the girls...

Ironically, we all work together so on top of a wonderful night, it was amazing to have a Saturday off for all of us!!! Good times were had by all!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!!!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day enjoying family and fireworks! Unfortunately for me, I had to work and even though I got off early, I don't live near my family and Jeff is out of town, so I was on my own. However I tried to make the best of it.
I pulled out the old fashioned hot dog roller! This thing is amazing...I recommend it to everyone! Disappointingly the "on sale" hot dogs I bought tasted AWEFUL! I took 2 bites and trashed them. I ended up resorting to this instead...
Pizza rolls have never let me down!

Again, Happy 4th!

I LOVE TO GET AWAY!

Even if only for a few days, it is so nice to get away. So refreshing. My family moved from FL (where I was born and raised) to PA in February. It's strange not flying into Tampa and instead flying into Baltimore! Here are a few things I did while in PA.

My Mother and I. My Dad, enjoying the beautiful view.

I didn't take as many photos as I would have liked to during my trip. Actually I only took pictures on the first and last day I was there.

My Dad and I went to a ball game before my flight on saturday. It was so nice out and I forgot how much I loved going to events like this. Growing up we always had a game of some sort to go to and I would always beg my mom for a huge pickle from the concession stand. Behind the field was a cow pasture and even with the smell I extremely enjoyed that time with my Dad!

(this is not my dad...hah...I just thought it was funny)

I thoroughly enjoyed my visit with my family and the only thing that kept me from not wanting to leave was knowing that my FAVORITE person would be joining me at home the following day!

It begins here...

In Celebration of FINALLY getting a mac, I decided that I would start my own blog! Now that I have a computer that I want to actually spend some time on! I am having a wonderfully confusing time trying to figure everything out that a mac has to offer having used a PC my whole life! Jeff has been so patient with me with all my confusing, and most of the time, stupid questions.
